The 'puter is acting up today. Let's see if I can complete this post.



Often when not near the pc, I have thoughts that I wish to write and post so I grab any paper handy and scribble.



I didn't date the scribble but in reading it over I decided to publish what I wrote sometime after the election and it was probably only a couple of days afterwards.

It has taken a bit of time to dedcompress after the results of the election.

Even now, I feel elated about the results and excited about the future, while realistically I am cobnitive of the wreckage facing the nation after the eight year reign of ignorand, irresponsibility, muscle politics and corruption.

SAVED!!! from more of same, or worse, by McCain's defeat - if you look at how poorly run his campaign was, how fragmented and misled - then perhaps you can understand why I feared a McCain win more than another terrorist attack.
