Confessional time.....

Did Scotty suddenly discovered he had a conscienc?

None of this is surprising to me.....never swallowed a word of it. I instead, gave credence to another Scott, last name Ritter. And even more to Hans Blix of the UN. Why were so many willing to gulp down the KoolAid?

The press room briefings that I listened to live on C-Span coverages, seemed very lacking in probing questions and today I heard many defensive remarks made by David Gregory that this wasn't the duty or role of the journalists! Astounding. Especially since he was one that did make some attempts at getting at facts.

Some sort of communal cup of denial seems to be the current drink of choice. Who else might be waking up from their five year snooze? The path from book to bank may get clogged.

The Cleanup Crew

Chief mud scraper Terry McAuliffe, tried mightily over the week-end to get all the dirt off Hill's pantsuit trousers but it seemed just a bit too contrived.

And just in case you didn't hear, it was all the Obama staffers fault anyway. How dare they?

Well why not, you know the old saw, what goes around, comes around, or the older version, thou shalt reap etc. --

All this political contortioning is bound to produce pretzels, not nomination. But stick around, the show will continue as long as the goal posts can be moved again.....and again.

Going down on a low note

I am one that isn't buying the "apology" statment by HRC. I watched the video of her Argus SD editorial board meeting with the newspaper staff there and I felt she definitely was playing a race/fear/assassination card. Also the "apology" words she offered were contingent on whether the Kennedy's felt badly about it. She should apologize directly to Barack Obama. This deliberate insertion of the Kennedy assassination has ghoulish and vampirish elements. How thoughtless can one get.

And wasn't she complaining that the MSM was playing favorites with Obama? Well I hope she gets plastered throughout the remainder of the unnecessary continuation of this campaign, that she has zero chance of stealing.

Angry I am.

The Fight Goes On and on...and on....and on....

My not posting a comment for three weeks may offer a significant clue that I am uninterested now in the continuation of the Clinton machine trying to convince the voters that Hillary is the saint the country needs to save the country. That is because I believe the Clintons top priority are - guess what?- The Clintons. Tonite was another chapter in the farce which has a couple or couple and a half of additional chapters of insignificant impact. Sure lots of people have had a chance to go vote in this overextended primary nominee race........ but that is little comfort when the price paid has been a disconnect too long unattended. Meaning that it may have more to do with the outcome in November than does the nominee. There may be words of unity at the end in Denver, but the cleavage deepens with each passing contest at this point.

There is nothing HRC can do to atone for this. It is too destructive and the time lost that could have been used for intraparty repairs will become so short that accomplishment is questionable at best. Greed for power is just as detestable in a Democrat as in a Republican.

The DENIAL disease

Anybody else notice this trait that Hillary has in common with "W"?

What does that tell us about how much change another Clinton presidency would accomplish?

She won't stop stupidly campaigning even though she is out of money and in debt, and anyone that can add two and two knows she hasn't any chance of becoming the nominee (barring finding another dirty trick ploy from that RNC playbook that she boasts about knowing so well)sort of a parallel universe,Barack needs to watch his back.

Who needs the Supreme Court?

Or rigged voting machines, or dirty tricks at the polling precincts? We've got Billary Clinton, and she is trying to rig approval of the controversial Mi/Fl delegates by the DNC rules committee.

I wonder if she is going to spread around a few more millions they've acquired already, thanks to their government offices. Maybe the government should qualify for a commission on the speechifying at outrageous fees, and on the books that bring in millions while they resell the history rewrites they want out there, instead of the facts about their actual political lives.

How long is it going to take for someone like Russ Feingold to establish a third party, the Progressives?

I'm ready for that change!

Federal Motor Fuels Tax

For days the media and the campaigns have been tossing this subject around trying to gain some advantage.

What burns me is that none of them have emphasized that this has been attempted as an amendment to some other bill in 2000-1 and it did not pass.

Why can Clinton and McCain get away with this pandering along with the complicity of the media? There is no way that a law can be drawn and worked through Congress in time for suspension of this tax for summer relief at the pumps. We need relief from all the fake hot air.

You can search for particulars in the Congressional Records.
