Much Ado, not much else

In continuing to hibernate to survive the scalding summer heat we are still enduring here in the Valley of the Sun, I have listened to all the hearings featuring Punch and Judy, ahem, no that's not right, it's Petraeus and Crocker. And now tonite we get the regurgitated version courtesy of the POTUS. If only there would be as little talk as there have been results............such dreaming.

Funny but sad, that I didn't hear any reports of how many meetings town meeting type, were held with the general ( no pun) public citizens of Iraq. The singular incident of a couple of tribal sheiks in Anbar eliminating Al Queda there ( my wasn't that quick) seems exaggeration at a mega level never reached before despite all the hype we have heaped into message massaging.

But those pesky Al Queda in Iraq are so skilled at recruiting that today one of the sheiks met his swift end. Now at whose hands do you suppose? We need to get our trainers briefed on how to overnite have effective training, instead of training period of five plus years and the INP and the IA still are said to not be capable of standing up, who can believe that. Are we just being rolled?

And is the Congress going to allow itself to get laid again tonite by "W"?

I'll be watching no doubt, beats the poor quality of commercial network and cable and I can only read so long with my aged eyes.
